Microm

Use scrollbar on right.

With Microm on an older PC, we can capture the latest data from the mM. This program has a LOT of features but is on its way to old-program-heaven. This tutorial just shows the most basic capture-display function.

1 - This comes up first. The "selective reset" business is explained in the DOS Archive.

2 - Click "Unit and Directory"

3 - Look for mm04 in this case.

4 - Slide waay down on this PC.

5 - Double click it. Put 1 in the com port box (to override setup default). Finally, click on the OK button to the right.

6 - Click on Capture.

7 - It will read 16 channels for one observation, unless other options are selected. I can't run it on this PC but it will ask you to "Please wait 3 minutes". It beeps when it's ready and says "Display KWH".

8 - Click on KWH.

9 - The "reset" function (not used in the new s/w) and others are explained in the DOS Archive.
